Average review score:

Great book for women unsure of their sexuality
"Testimonies" is a great resource for those of us early on in the coming out process. I found the stories very helpful with what I am going through. It is nice to know I'm not the only one out there with confusions about myself. Reading "Testimonies" has been extremely uplifting for me and I thank all that helped to bring it about.

Texas Victory

Authors: Denzel Holmes and Tom Schliesing
Average review score:

Breathtakingly awesome!
Holmes and Schliesing are authors whose books that we will soon be shown on the bestseller lists!

TEXAS VICTORY is a romp through an untapped chapter of drama on the Texas frontier. Not a horse western, not another fast-draw artist. An arrogant warrior prince brings his colony into the Hill Country wilderness. He faces Comanche Chief Fleetaumountec who accuses him of eating the wife the chief gave him. Frau Greta Gotlieb, his fiancee's lady-in-waiting, despises the man from the first day. The immigrants' abhorrence to slavery put them at odds with fellow Texans. The prince takes action. The characters are loveable and warm. The love story is overwhelming, the resolution spell binding.

TEXAS VICTORY is the sort of book that when one gets near to the end, one begins reading slower because he/she doesn't want to see it end. This is a must have book for men, women, Texans and non-Texans alike!

It just really helped me to see Jesus as a Man in this book.
It was a real and personal way for me to see Jesus. Because he was fully man. Sometimes when we think of Jesus we forget that he was fully Man.

Tomorrow's World
Published in Hardcover by Parkwest Pubns (October, 1986)
Author: Fiona Holmes
Average review score:

Re-release of a classic
The Liaison was the first album from Abraxas, in 1993, and it was edited only in japan. Then in 1998, this classic of the heavy-progressive metal was re-released and remastered for Europe.
About the album, it's a must buy. Chris Klauke (ex-Mania) is on the vocals, and the faster songs with the melodic lines he plays makes this album a great choice and a classic.

Traditional Storytelling Today: An International Sourcebook
Published in Hardcover by Fitzroy Dearborn Publishers (April, 1999)
Authors: Margaret Read Macdonald, John Holmes McDowell, Linda Degh, and Barre Toelken
Average review score:

A TREASURE !
Praise be to Margaret Read MacDonald for compiling these essays about contemporary storytelling around the world. Many are written by those who grew up hearing tales told around the hearth; all are solidly grounded in academic theory without (for the most part) being pedantic or jargon-y. Of special interest are the many articles about telling stories to children, a subject that has bee neglected by too many anthropologists and folklorists. Well-worth the price.
